My name is Katherine, better known as Katie. I'm in my late twenties, residing in South Louisiana, trying to live my life to the fullest.
My dream is to be a successful, published novelist so I am hoping that maintaining this blog will help me writing, even if the entries are nonsensical and random at times. It gives me a reason to write, and perhaps even inspire me to finish my current manuscript!
Another interest is belly dancing, as I am sure many of my entries will make clear to you. I have been dancing since 2009 and am proud to be a member of a dance troupe, the Shimmy Peppers. I can't sew my costumes for beans, but I luckily have friends who do and are willing to put up with my mistakes. And, gosh darn it, I gotta learn somehow! I forsee many entries about how I want to burn my current project into the ground....
Other things to note about me: I am an avid Disney fan, a huge Star Wars nerd, just learning how to play table-top role playing games, casual video gamer, former cosplayer, Christian, and over-all sweet and nerdy.
